Summer Reading Guidelines

Flint Public Library’s 2023 Adult Summer Reading Challenge is a great way to diversify your reading, get out of your comfort zone, and “find your voice”! Register in person at the library or online by using the link above.

Adults ages 18+ will have from Tuesday, June 20th – Friday, August 18th to log their reading. The program will conclude with our end-of-summer raffle, where we’ll be giving away four incredible prizes! There are two ways to win raffle tickets:

1) Log your reading! For every book you read this summer, you will receive a raffle ticket to enter into our summer reading raffle. Log your reading in person at the library or online by using the link above.

2) Play bingo! Use the bingo card included in the packet to play along throughout the summer. For every completed bingo square, participants will earn 2 raffle tickets.  Every time you score “bingo” you will receive an additional 5 raffle tickets (with a maximum of 15 additional tickets). Each book read may only be used to fill in one category; for example, Cujo could be used to fill the “movie/TV” category or the “thriller” category, but not both. Be strategic! Claim your bingo raffle tickets in person at the library or online by clicking the link above.

The last day to log your reading, earn raffle tickets, and enter them in the raffle is Friday, August 18th. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, August 22nd!
