April is Poetry Month! To celebrate, Flint Public Library is curating our first digital anthology, Cow Town Poetry!

We will review poetry of all topics, themes, styles and lengths. Be creative! We encourage submissions from writers all ages, and will include works by children, teens, and adults.

Please note that we will not publish any work that is deemed derogatory, hateful, or offensive.

All submissions are free. You may submit up to three poems that will be reviewed by staff. One poem per writer will be selected for inclusion in the poetry anthology. You may submit work that has been previously published as long as you retain the rights to your work. Please include the name of original publication your work appeared in so we may give the appropriate credit.

Your submitted work will be reviewed and considered for our public poetry journal which will include credit to your name. If you would like to submit work anonymously, please indicate in your submission. You do not need to include any personal information. All poetry will be published online on the library’s website and our social media platforms.

Submission Deadline: April 20, 2020

To submit, please send all of your submissions in one email to Adult Services Librarian, Justin Liberti: jliberti@flintpublib.org
